Taken From Gizomodo I Fooled Millions Into Thinking Chocolate Helps Weight Loss. Here’s How. John Bohannon 5/27/15 4:23pm “Slim by Chocolate!” the headlines blared. A team of German researchers had found that people on a low-carb diet lost weight 10 percent faster if they ate a chocolate bar every day. It made the front page of Bild, Europe’s largest daily newspaper, just beneath their update about the Germanwings crash. From there, it ricocheted around the internet and beyond, making news in more than 20 countries and half a dozen languages. It was discussed on television news shows. It appeared in glossy print, most recently in the June issue of Shape magazine (“Why You Must Eat Chocolate Daily,” page 128). • Soul-Satisfying Chicken and Dumpling Soup (Paleo Comfort Food)

I’ve always been fond of Asian cuisine. It doesn’t matter if it’s Chinese, Vietnamese, or Thai, I can’t get enough of it. With that in mind, today I’m going to be sharing one of my all-time favorite paleo recipes for making a soul-satisfying chicken and dumpling soup. It provides a one-two punch combo of goodness as you’ll be making the dumplings entirely from scratch and then pairing them with a superb homemade soup. The soup is fairly standard paleo fare, with a mix of chicken, homemade broth, and healthy veggies. It’s the dumplings that will have you going crazy over this…

  • Magnesium Flakes. Better or Worse than Epsom Salts?

Magnesium flakes are a popular tool for helping to improve one’s nutritional status of this critical mineral. The question is, does it work?
Not only is magnesium deficiency rampant today, even when a person gets enough in the diet (more than two-thirds do not), he/she might not absorb it very well. (1)

  • Homemade Crockpot Cream of Chicken Soup (Paleo-Friendly)

If you’re a fan of cream of chicken soup, you’re going to absolutely love the recipe that I’ll be sharing today. It makes a homemade crockpot cream of chicken soup that’s 100% paleo approved. No can opener needed! I used to always buy canned cream of chicken soup, but quite often it would be full of unhealthy additives and processed ingredients. Making it from scratch avoids that issue, as you’re able to make sure that the soup is made with nothing but nourishing, whole food ingredients. If you’re wondering if this has been tested on the kids, the answer is yes,…
